About the opportunity
Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our
Medium Rigid (MR) Vehicle Truck Driver
, you'll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You'll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn't get better than that
$*****p/h + Generous overtime and 12% superannuation
You'll be
Safely loading your truck with freight that can weigh up to 30 kg, for your deliveries with teammates at the facility.
Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.
Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups.
About you
You are a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You're passionate about making a difference in the community.
You'll also need to
Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Hold a relevant heavy vehicle licence.
Be fit enough to load and unload freight items that could weigh up to 30 kg, of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.
Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.
Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120 kg or less.
Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
