The Opportunity
We're seeking a skilled HV Electrician to help maintain the safe and efficient operation of our world‐class equipment. In this role, you'll be responsible for high‐voltage electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing Komatsu's heavy machinery, while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational reliability.
Roster: DIDO 7/7 day /night shift roster – 12.25 hour shifts (with bus transfer to and from camp)
Role Located: Curragh Coal Mine
Remuneration: $185,000 + super + allowances

What We Are Looking For
* Relevant HV Electrical Trade qualification and certification.
* Proven experience as an HV Electrician in the automotive or heavy equipment industry, with a focus on electric vehicles, ideally Komatsu machinery.
* Strong knowledge of high‐voltage electrical systems and components, including inverters, converters, motors, and high‐voltage batteries.
* Familiarity with relevant safety standards and protocols for high‐voltage systems.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
* Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‐quality work.
* HV switching certification is highly desirable.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics.
