Sommelier with a passion for providing guests with the best experience day in and day out
We are seeking a customer service driven candidate with a passion for providing guests, regulars and locals with the best experience every day of the week.
The restaurant has quickly become a favourite in the Sydney dining scene with its menu presenting it in a modern yet approachable presentation using quality produce. Its where refined dining can be enjoyed in a warm and vibrant atmosphere with warm and fun people.
You will report directly to the Restaurant Manager and be responsible for controlling operational costs of the business from the ground level. You will also enjoy being the friendly, welcoming face for the guests who visit and the "go to" person for all wine staff; we are looking for someone who take ownership and really cares about our business as if it is their own.
We are also looking for someone who has:
* 2-3 years' experience as a Sommelier in smart quality restaurants or wine bar environments.
* A warm and level headed approach to service.
* Hold a WSET II/III Certificate or have similar working knowledge of wine and spirits.
* Sommelier experience is a must
* Full available to work a hospitality roster including nights, weekends and public holidays when required.
