Executive Assistant to CEO
Full Time - (Part-Time or job share considered)
This key role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is primarily responsible for liaison, coordination and providing high quality administrative support to the REDHS CEO, the rest of the Executive team and Board in a professional, confidential and effective manner.
The purpose of this position is to manage the administrative and secretariat functions of key committees as well as provide leadership to the Office of the Chief Executive. It supports other duties related to marketing and communication, including event coordination, publications and office management.
The Executive Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring workflow synergies and effective communication between the CEO Office, the REDHS Executive team and other key stakeholders. The role manages numerous tasks, timelines and competing priorities.
The role ensures the effective and high-quality provision of administration requirements including providing support with Board appointments, Board subcommittee meeting administration, compliance and statutory reporting, and other matters relating to maintaining effective governance systems at REDHS.

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo and Shepparton.
We are an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.

Following the flood in October 2022, we commenced an extensive rebuild of our facility which was completed in January 2025.
