Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Direct Care Worker for our Stepdown Unit to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will assist in delivering direct client services to residents, working closely with health professionals and under the guidance of the Aboriginal Liaison Officer. Your contribution will be vital in supporting residents' well‐being and ensuring quality care within the Residential Care Home.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day to day execution of a position.
* Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.
Qualifications and Checks
* DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
* National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups
* Immunisation Risk for this position is Category B (indirect contact with blood or body substances)
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
