About the Role
Our Occupational Therapy services make a difference in providing better Allied Health services for people living with a disability.
Working with clients with a range of conditions including neurological conditions, ASD, and many more, you will have the ability to assess their needs, design appropriate therapy plans, and advocate on their behalf.
Providing support in the areas of home modifications, equipment prescription, assistive technology, and collaborating with colleagues and leadership team for learning opportunities and sharing celebrated Weekly Wins had with participants, families, and caregivers.
* Home modifications: complex and simple
* Equipment prescription: mobility aids, positioning supports, bathroom aids, and seating
* Assistive technology: self-care, low tech, and learning aids
Key Responsibilities:
* Home Modifications: designing safe and accessible living spaces for clients
* Equipment Prescription: recommending and prescribing mobility aids, positioning supports, and other equipment to meet client needs
* Assistive Technology: implementing and monitoring the use of assistive technologies to enhance client independence
