Caring Approach is a fast growing, vibrant, supportive and caring organisation. We provide tailored in home support, community care and accommodation for the elderly and people with both physical and intellectual disabilities across Sydney & Canberra.
We are seeking caring and professional individuals to become part of the Caring Approach HR team to assist in identifying and recruiting skilled candidates.
Caring Approach has one position available to join our Sydney team as a Recruitment Consultant.
Responsibilities
* Screen potential employees' resumes, assess application forms and determine most suitable candidates for a vacancy, including reporting on effectiveness of job ads and the creation of new advertisements.
* Maintain a bias‐free recruitment process, avoiding biases related to past experience, sexual orientation, and gender identity, to ensure the company remains an equal opportunity employer.
* Facilitate onboarding process for current hires across offices.
* Update company databases by entering new employee contact information, details, and more.
* Organise and set up interviews with shortlisted candidates.
* Gather market salary information to design new compensation and benefits packages.
* Maintain accurate knowledge of Caring Approach HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR‐related operational guidelines to respond to internal staff inquiries.
* Participate in regular audits of internal and external policies, processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications
* Understanding of Australian employment law.
* Problem‐solving ability.
* Legal visa to work in Australia.
* Current Police check within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
* Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Smartphone with the ability to install apps.
* Driver's licence.
* Empathetic and understanding approach to providing care to people with complex needs including mental health.
* Completion of the NDIS new worker module or willingness to complete as part of the organisation's induction process.
Desired Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Familiarity with full‐cycle recruiting.
* Working knowledge of MS Office.
* Good time‐management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Previous knowledge or experience of the Care industry.
