The Role
We're looking for a hands‐on, experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the charge at the Homestead's restaurant and bar. From managing rosters and mentoring the team to making sure every meal and drink hits the mark, this role is all about creating an unforgettable guest experience.
Duties
* Managing the day‐to‐day F&B operations across the restaurant, bar, and event spaces
* Leading and developing a small team of front‐of‐house staff
* Ensuring exceptional service across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events
* Maintaining impeccable standards in service delivery, cleanliness, and safety
* Stock control, ordering, and working closely with the kitchen team
* Driving guest satisfaction through warm hospitality and efficient operations
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a F&B Manager or similar role (ideally remote or luxury resort‐based)
* A strong leader who's not afraid to jump in and get their hands dirty
* A passion for creating memorable customer experiences
* Solid understanding of stock control, budgeting, and team rostering
* RSA essential – Approved Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
