Your Team
Risk and Control Advisory (RCA) are a valued and trusted partner to Hollard's Line 1 business functions, providing group‐wide cross‐functional risk and control advisory and assurance services. The team enhances organisational risk maturity, capability and culture to support strategic goals, improve the customer experience and mitigate regulatory risks.
Your Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Risk Advisory, you will act as a trusted Line 1 risk advisor supporting Operations and other business functions. Your responsibilities include providing pragmatic risk guidance, performing control effectiveness testing, supporting risk uplift initiatives and embedding scalable risk practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct control effectiveness testing and support control assurance activities.
* Partner with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
* Support risk maturity uplift initiatives and capability development programmes.
* Deliver practical risk guidance aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements.
* Facilitate training and support the embedment of enterprise risk frameworks.
* Collaborate with Line 2 and Line 3 teams to strengthen risk and control practices.
About You
* 3+ years of experience in Risk Management within financial services.
* Strong understanding of risk frameworks, controls assurance, and regulatory requirements.
* Experience in business partnering, advisory, or operational risk environments.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Ability to translate complex risk concepts into practical business solutions.
* Strong analytical, problem‐solving and relationship‐management capability.
