About the Role:
The Department is seeking experienced leaders to spearhead research and development of cropping systems in regional NSW. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing scientists and projects, building relationships with key partners, and securing funding for new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and develop a high-performing research team.
2. Lead complex research and development programs from inception to completion.
3. Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and partners.
4. Identify and secure new research and development funding and opportunities.
Requirements:
* Degree or postgraduate qualifications in agriculture or science-based disciplines.
* Proven leadership skills.
* Extensive experience in leading research and development programs.
* Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and partners.
