Protech have the opportunity for up to10 mechanical fitterstojoin our clients teams projects inand around the Epping, Melbourne area.
We are ideally looking for fitters who have spent a minimum 2 years in the fieldand those with industrial/switchboard manufacturing backgrounds will be highly regarded.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* QualifiedMechanical Fitters (Australian or recognised overseas trade)
* Previous experience working in a switchboard manufacturing setting
* Ability to be on your feet for8-10 hour days
* Ability to read electrical schematics
* Strong safety focus & attention to detail
* Team player with good communication skills
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Ongoing role working Monday to Friday and Saturdays on requirement
* Day shifts from6am starts
* OT on offer as the work ramps up, 8-10 hour days
* $50.00ph – $60.00ph + super + penalties
* Consistent pipeline of work
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Building and wiring mechanical components of custom switchboards
* Reading schematics, drawings, and blueprints
* Working across a range of industry projects
* Must have reliable transport
