About the Role
ACT Pathology provides diagnostic and consultative services to medical specialists and general practitioners and their patients in hospital and in the community.
The Molecular Pathology and Infectious Serology Laboratory is a tertiary facility performing highly complex time-consuming investigations in the areas of Molecular Microbiology and infectious serology.
We are looking for 2 Technical Officers, who has the ability to perform consistently at a high level in regard to accuracy and attention to detail including storage system, following up on QAP, QC, temperature monitoring and use of a pathology information system.
Responsibilities
* Work in the evening, on public holidays and/or overnight and weekends as required.

* Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.

There are two positions available: 1 x permanent position at part-time hours (22.5 hours per week) with pro-rata full-time salary noted above, and 1 x temporary position available at full-time hours for four months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months.
