Located in Osborne Park, Wild Child is an established contract manufacturer for both therapeutic and cosmetic products.
Responsibilities
* Filling and packaging of pharmaceutical products
* Follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures
* Operate bottle and tube filling and packaging lines, shrink wrappers and auto cartoners
* Conduct manual secondary packaging (hand labeling, unit cartonning, ink‐jet coding)
* Perform line clearances and in‐process checks
* Read and follow instructions in all critical documents
* Record information in GMP documents
* Check batch and expiry details, perform batch and label reconciliations
* Review and reconcile completed batch documents
* Issue cleaning status stickers at the end of job to machines and tanks
* Clear and clean production lines upon completion of batch, cleaning after spillages, remove rubbish and empty bins
* Perform cleaning of production facility and specialised cleanrooms
* Check packaging materials for production batches and retrieve from warehouse
* Collect retention and micro samples as per batch documents and deliver to QC/Validation
* Maintain production area in an auditable condition
* Participate in training activities
* Working days: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday)
Requirements
* Ability to support shifts 6–2 am, 8–4 pm, 10–6 pm
* Must be able to lift 2.5–5.0 kg loads
* Year 10 high school certificate or equivalent
* A minimum of 2‐year experience in pharmaceutical or a similar industry (production and manufacturing environment)
* Similar industry experience includes food manufacturing, cosmetics manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, medical devices, or nutraceuticals
* Ability to read, write and communicate in English
* Ability to follow written procedures and have basic mathematical skills
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to getting things done correctly
* Basic knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) will be an advantage
* Current forklift license/certificate
