Job Description The About
Our client is a leading Australian gold producer with a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and workforce development. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor to join their site-based team on a FIFO 8:6 roster.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing a skilled and competent workforce while supporting safe and efficient mining operations.
The Opportunity
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering training, conducting assessments, and ensuring workforce competency across a range of mobile plant equipment and site-based activities.
Working closely with operational leaders and safety personnel, you will contribute to the ongoing development of employees and contractors while maintaining compliance with site training standards and regulatory requirements.
About You
You are an experienced mining professional with a passion for developing people and promoting safe work practices. You have strong communication skills, a practical approach to training, and the ability to engage with personnel at all levels of the operation.

Key Requirements
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
* Demonstrated experience training and assessing within the mining industry
* Experience conducting VOCs and competency-based assessments
* Strong knowledge of mobile plant operations and mining procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
* Full Australian working rights
* Ability to commit to a FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth
Highly Regarded
* Experience training on haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and ancillary equipment
* Experience using Learning Management Systems and training databases
* Previous experience in a gold mining environment
