What We Offer
* Competitive hourly rate of $28.97 per hour
* Casual 30+ hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Early morning shifts start at 4:00am or 4:30am, with early finish times of 1:00pm or 1:30pm, supporting a healthy work‐life balance
* Weekly pay cycle
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine visual inspections to monitor product quality throughout the production process
* Conduct and accurately document all required quality checks, including scale calibration, metal detection, gas analysis, temperature monitoring, thermometer verification, label inspections, and product assessments
* Complete Black Bag (foreign body) audits and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
* Maintain accurate records, ensure full product traceability through effective filing systems, and support the implementation of corrective actions where required
* Carry out pre‐operational and post‐operational inspections and collaborate with production teams to ensure consistent delivery of high‐quality products
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry (seafood, meat, poultry, or similar) and/or food safety inspection experience is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and unrestricted Australian working rights
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment and comfortably in cold working conditions
* Exceptional attention to detail, strong accuracy and organisational skills, with a proactive and reliable approach to work
