We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Broker Lending Officer to join our dynamic team in our Townsville office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering timely, accurate, and friendly service to our members and third-party introducers. You will utilise your strong lending experience to manage loan writing and financial analysis, recommend suitable products and services, and identify opportunities to cross-sell additional offerings to our members. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate clear and confident communication skills, and be adaptable to changing priorities while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and service.
This is full time 18-month secondment position, based on a 38-hour working week with preferred location for this position to be in Townsville.
About You
To be eligible for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Previous experience in mortgage lending, with regular exposure to credit applications.
* Proficient in analyzing financial statements to inform lending decisions.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
* Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Experience within the Financial Services industry.
