Hunter New England Local Health District – Occupational Therapist (Paediatric)
Employment Type: Temporary Part-Time until January 2027 (2 days per week)
Position Classification: Occupational Therapist Level 1/2
Remuneration: $38.51 per hour – $54.94 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging
Hours per week: 16

Location: Paediatric Occupational Therapy team based at Cessnock and Kurri Kurri Hospitals
Responsibilities
* Assessment and intervention for paediatric clients
* Work closely with families and carers to support goal setting and therapy planning
* Utilise the developed Paediatric Occupational Therapy Model of Care
* Provide clinic‐based service across Cessnock and Kurri Kurri Hospitals
* Document on SDPR and generate report writing
About You
The successful applicant will have experience working in a paediatric setting and demonstrate genuine enthusiasm and passion for supporting children and their families. The role requires a positive, engaging approach, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and strong organisational and time‐management skills.

* Occupational Therapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA. Please upload a copy of your qualification/s with your CV.
