An exciting opportunity is available for an IT Service Delivery Manager at a Council. This is a permanent position, located in Western Sydney and offers a flexible working arrangement.
**Your recent role**
The ICT Service Delivery Manager primary responsibility is to oversee the seamless provision of technology services and manage Service Desk operations for the Council. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality and timely customer service, effectively meeting business needs while maintaining cost efficiency. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Council's cyber security posture and risk program.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience maintaining an ITIL-compliant service desk for incident and problem management.
- Experience managing cyber security operations and cyber security capability
- Experience receiving, logging and reporting on incoming service requests, ensuring regular communication with customers.
- Proven experience creating user guides and self-serve solutions, introducing capabilities for stakeholders.
- Keep the Service Desk up to date with new technologies and the latest procedures.
- Provide coaching, support, and direction to team members.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and statutory requirements, industry codes, practices, and standards.
- Assist the ICT Operations Manager and Finance Business Partner in preparing the annual budget.
- Manage the budget for allocated Cost Centres/Projects.
- Analyse budget data and identify/report on trends.
