About the Role
We are seeking proactive and talented individuals to join our high‐performing team on site. Reporting to the Technology Operations Team, we are looking for individuals who enjoy troubleshooting, problem solving, and are keen to apply those skills to real‐world challenges. Working on a world‐class site, you will play a key role in ensuring our Operational Technology systems function seamlessly to support safe and efficient operations. This position is based at Olympic Dam Site and is on a 7 on / 7 off roster (day shift only), with flexible options for residential, drive‐in drive‐out or fly‐in fly‐out.
Responsibilities
* Delivering effective and timely responses to service requests, resolving incidents and problems and managing the Technology service catalogue.
* Building and deploying packages for installation, managing patching, troubleshooting end‐user devices, and conducting low‐level asset and inventory management.
* Determining the underlying cause of problems and evaluating multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
* Providing support for end‐user devices – laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and video conference units for users, diagnosing and raising incidents for resolution.
* Conducting data analysis, performance monitoring, and root‐cause analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement within Workplace Technology.
* Developing and maintaining trusting and collaborative relationships with Operational and Functional teams to foster strong communication, regular feedback, and continuous improvement.
* Engaging with users to understand and meet their needs, fostering long‐term relationships.
* Performing daily and weekly checks of all office‐based technology equipment such as meeting rooms and desks.
* Coordinating and managing printer consumables and hardware maintenance with third‐party vendors.
* Managing hardware failures by coordinating with maintenance service providers for delivery and installation of replacement parts.
* Maintaining workspace standards and providing onsite Field Support for Enterprise services.
* Preparing incident reports and escalation reports as required.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or relevant certifications. Candidates with extensive end‐user compute experience will also be considered favourably.
* Experience in level 1 and 2 IT support and ServiceNow will be valuable.
* Experience working in industrial environments is highly favourable.
* Ability to work in industrial operating environments to support the operations team.
* Australian C class driver's licence (with ability to drive a manual vehicle).
* A customer‐focused approach to providing end‐user support in a medium‐to‐large organization including executive support.
* Experience working with Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory and Intune - bonus.
* Experience working with virtual meeting room hardware and related software such as Zoom, Webex or MS Teams - bonus.
* Technical experience in the installation, configuration and support of end‐user equipment including rebuilding and preparing systems for deployment - bonus.
* Experience interacting with different lines of service and internal/external resolver groups.
