Location: Darwin Health Centre – located at RAAF Base Darwin, just 6.5 km north‐east of Darwin.

* 2 × Permanent Full‐Time Roles – Monday to Thursday: 07:30–16:00, and Friday: 07:30–13:30.
* 1 × Permanent Part‐Time Role – Monday/Tuesday: 07:30–15:30 and Friday: 07:30–13:30.
About The Role
As a Civilian Psychologist, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, supporting the complex and diverse mental health needs of active ADF personnel.
Your Impact
* Conduct comprehensive intakes and psychological assessments.
* Deliver tailored, evidence‐based psychological interventions.
* Administer psychometric assessments within scope.
* Manage your own caseload with professional autonomy.
* Coordinate and oversee externally referred cases.
* Participate in crisis response, risk assessment, and management planning.
* Collaborate within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
About the Location
Darwin Health Centre sits within RAAF Base Darwin, which shares a runway with Darwin International Airport. The base plays a major role in annual Defence exercises across the Northern Territory.
The Centre
* Supports a routine dependency of approximately 520 members.
* Surges to an additional 1,500 Australian and international Defence personnel during major Air Force exercises.
* Provides nursing, mental health, physiotherapy, and pharmaceutical services.
Operating hours are typically 07:30–16:00 Monday–Thursday, with a half day Friday (07:30–13:30).
About You
* Current, unconditional AHPRA registration as a Registered Psychologist.
* Minimum 2 years' post‐graduate mental health experience (within the past 5 years).
* Experience in psychological assessment and delivery of Focused Psychological Strategies.
* Current CPR certificate (HLTAID009).
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and the ADF Mental Health & Wellbeing Strategy (desirable).
* Australian Citizenship.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
