Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to maintain and administer TACINT related networks, inputting into detailed network designs and writing implementation instructions.
The ideal candidate will have sound skills in maintaining and supporting large scale networks, understanding and hands-on experience with network architectures, routing, switching, and associated technologies.
A successful applicant will demonstrate implementation skills, creative problem solving, strategic planning and advanced communication skills.
They will analyse complex scenarios across multiple knowledge areas, identify and present solutions to meet stakeholder objectives, facilitate and effectively communicate with peers and customers.
Deliver work to agreed performance standards, hold a current security clearance to work on Federal agencies projects.
About You
Key qualifications include maintaining LAN/WAN and Wireless systems, installation/implementation of switches and routers and their configuration, routing protocols, firewalls and security policies, prioritising, QOS, Load Balancing and Managing Data Flows, VPNs and Securing Network Devices.
Australian Citizens with current NV1 clearance minimum and ability to obtain/maintain an Australian Government NV2 security clearance are encouraged to apply.
