About the Role
Responsibilities include:
coordinating workplace rehabilitation and return to work for employees who sustain a work-related or personal injury or illness
ensuring workplace rehabilitation is started as soon as practicable in accordance with medical advice
advising how to access worker's compensation for work related injuries or illnesses
advising about income protection (QSuper) claim process for non-work-related injuries or illnesses
developing graduated return to work programs in consultation with medical practitioners and other stakeholders
providing a planned approach to rehabilitation that is consistent with medical advice and facilitated by a RRTW Coordinator
achieving sustainable, protected, and successful return to work outcomes for the employee and workplace
consulting with employees and workplace to provide productive and meaningful suitable duties
treating employees with respect and equity during the workplace rehabilitation process
providing quality recommendations on rehabilitation and return to work to achieve optimal outcomes
facilitating and supporting the rehabilitation and return to work for employees and the workplace in accordance with best practice processes
