Job Overview
The role of IT Systems Administrator entails the management of one or more data systems, encompassing computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers, and storage devices.
This is a 100% onsite position located in Alice Springs, AU.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain, install, upgrade, and configure data systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
* Administer operating systems and uphold basic security and recovery procedures including scheduling and backups
* Perform tasks requiring expertise and knowledge of standard concepts within their field
* Display core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using established procedures while developing advanced skills
* Manage multiple IT vendors to guarantee timely completion of IT projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* US TS/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV clearance required
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least 2 years of directly related IT experience
* Security+ certification
* Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking principles in a Microsoft Environment
