About The Role

As a Parking Compliance Coordinator, you'll lead and support team supervisors and frontline teams responsible for parking compliance across the city. You will help deliver a fair, customer focused service that improves safety, access and amenity for residents, businesses and visitors. You'll coordinate people and resources, guide day to day operations, and play a hands on role in keeping the city moving.

A Little More About The Role

You'll be responsible for managing operational budgets and ensuring resources are used effectively to achieve sustainable service delivery. You will lead and support parking compliance team supervisors, ensuring operational activities align with Branch and organisational strategic objectives.

As a leadership role embedded in daily operations, this position requires regular attendance in the office and on street to support staff, collaborate with stakeholders and stay connected to what's happening across the city.

About You

This role suits an experienced compliance professional who enjoys leading people, building strong relationships and balancing enforcement with education. You'll bring sound judgement, a calm approach to challenging situations, and a genuine commitment to community outcomes. If you're passionate about developing teams, improving services and making a visible difference in the public realm, this is a role where your work really matters.

What your experience might look like – Key Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated experience leading and developing frontline teams, with the ability to drive performance, manage conflict and support a positive, values led culture.
* A proactive, adaptable approach with the judgement to make sound decisions and escalated complex issues appropriately.
* Proven ability to plan and manage daily operations, coordinate resources, and deliver consistent, customer focused services in a complex and high pressure environment.
* Well developed communication and relationship building skills, including the ability to respond to customer enquiries and complaints with professionalism and discretion.
* Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline such as Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or Diploma of Local Government (Regulatory Services), and/or relevant level of experience.
