Our company offers an exciting opportunity for a Liability Underwriter to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of broker relationships and providing commercially sound, profitable underwriting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Take charge of managing a portfolio of broker relationships to ensure excellent outcomes that support renewal retention and initiatives for securing new business.
* Provide commercially sound, profitable underwriting solutions in line with your delegated authority level.
* Build strong relationships with brokers in your portfolio, working closely with our team to develop and grow a profitable business.
What We Are Looking For
* Previous liability experience either as an Underwriter or Broker is essential.
* A passion for underwriting liability risks and product innovation.
* Excellent relationship-building skills.
* Thrive on achieving results and work effectively as part of a team.
* A good understanding of sales along with an understanding of the culture associated with broker negotiations.
