Drill and Blast Operations Specialist
Our Drill and Blast Operations team in the Northern Territory is seeking a highly skilled Drill and Blast Operations Specialist to join our crew. This role is pivotal in delivering top-tier blasting services to our quarry, construction, and forestry clients.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging in physically demanding work, establishing exclusion zones with appropriate signage, following all instructions on the blast site from the shot firer and/or supervisor, ensuring site and equipment cleanliness, upholding Impact's safety culture and standards in the designated area, and performing any other duties as required by a supervisor/manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Australian Open Class manual driver's licence
* Proficiency in using computers and operating systems
* Physical agility to undertake extended periods of walking, carrying and bending
* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
* Reside in Marrakai/Darwin and surrounds
* Ability to travel for work
