About the Company

About the role
Lead day‑to‑day farm operations across cropping, irrigation, machinery and people leadership. Principal crops are beans and corn with scope to trial off‑season rotations (e.g., mung beans, popcorn, cotton; mixed farm hay). Full P&L; accountability with strong operational autonomy.
Main Responsibilities
(must be demonstrated in your application letter/resume)
- Annual crop plans, budgets and forecasts
- Planting, fert, pest/disease programs and harvest coordination
- Operate hard‑hose boom irrigators, centre pivots and limited drip
- Oversee JD tractors, Mizotty high‑rise sprayers and maintenance planning
- Lead a predominantly casual workforce (approx. 12) with WHS compliance
- Maintain Freshcare, HARPS, HACCP records and audit readiness
- Weekly/monthly reporting to CEO
Education / Experience / Skills
- 8+ years in farm/production management (vegetables preferred)
- Solid irrigation, machinery and team leadership capability
- Commercial acumen and systems discipline
- Track record of delivering yield and cost outcomes safely
- Relocation assistance + PPE + development
