Team Leader – Sessional Suites
Join St John of God Midland Private Hospital as a Team Leader – Sessional Suites, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Sessional Suites. In this dynamic leadership position, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, supporting consultants, and delivering an exceptional standard of care and service to patients. You will lead by example, fostering a collaborative, patient-centred environment while maintaining efficiency, professionalism, and compliance with hospital standards.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily activities and schedule in Sessional Suites.
* Support consultants and staff in delivering high quality care.
* Ensure compliance with hospital standards and protocols.
* Maintain patient‐centred environment and foster collaboration.
* Prioritise and manage competing demands and adapt to changing clinic needs.
Qualifications & Experience
* Highly capable and organised professional with experience in practice management across a diverse range of specialties.
* Strong working knowledge of Genie, Microsoft Office, and audiotyping.
* Well‐developed understanding of medical terminology and sound knowledge of medical accounting practices, including Medicare, workers' compensation, MVA and private health fund processes.
* Solid grasp of hospital procedures, particularly patient admissions and theatre requirements.
* Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation with stakeholders.
* Compassionate and patient‐centred approach with ability to build rapport and resolve challenging situations.
* Self‐motivated, independent worker who can effectively prioritise and manage competing demands.
About the New Midland Private Hospital
* A brand‐new purpose‐built state‐of‐the‐art facility, currently under construction, located just 300 metres from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals Campus.
* A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region.
* The hospital will feature:
o 96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six‐bed critical care/high dependency unit.
o 33‐bed/chair short stay and day procedure unit.
o Eight operating theatres.
o A cardiac/vascular catheter laboratory.
We can offer you
* Salary: $88,501 - $90,256 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
* Permanent full‐time position.
