Due to an increase in student numbers, Pembroke School is accepting applications for Visual Arts Teacher commencing in Semester 2, 2026. This part time, fixed term opportunity will support the continued delivery of high-quality, curriculum aligned Visual Art programs and contribute to the School's rich creative culture, ensuring students are actively engaged and well supported in their artistic learning.
About the Role
This role is vital to the Arts Faculty, reporting to the Head of Visual Art, and will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, curriculum-aligned programs. The successful candidate will actively engage students in creative learning experiences, foster participation and curiosity, and support the School's commitment to excellence in arts education.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons that engage students and foster artistic thinking
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and wellbeing
* Assessing and reporting on student progress in line with school policies
* Contributing to faculty planning, assessment design, and resource sharing
* Participating in pastoral care and co-curricular activities as appropriate
About You
You are an enthusiastic and committed Visual Art educator who brings energy, curiosity and a student-centred approach to the classroom. You build strong relationships, communicate clearly and create learning experiences that spark interest, persistence and discovery. You are collaborative by nature and committed to refining your practice through reflection, feedback and professional learning.

* Relevant tertiary qualifications and teacher registration (or eligibility) in South Australia.

* Current Working with Children Check (South Australia)
* Current Plink RRHAN-EC training: Masterclass and Fundamentals, including Protective Practices
* First Aid and CPR
