An established but growing player in a niche of the finance sector. They provide the finance that underpins a number of major brands in the market.
The role
The company is running a modern microsoft environment - 365, Azure, Intune, Sharepoint, Onedrive, etc. Much of the 365 environment though is running in quite a vanilla state, and they are now looking to automate what can be automated, implement copilot (with the appropriate controls), ensure their DLP stance is strong, implement an effective backup strategy, and basically have someone who owns the platform.
You'd work closely with their modern workplace engineer, their Azure team, the cybersec team to get the best out of the system. You'd also be a point of escalation for the dekstop support team.
So what are we looking for?
Someone who knows O365 deeply - Exchange online, Sharepoint, OneDrive & Teams.
Having a good understanding of cybersecurity (NIST or Essential 8 would be ideal), data loss prevention (Purview would be great) is also needed. Ideally you'll also have decent scripting skills.
Having an understanding of intune & packaging would be a bonus, but this isn't a modern workplace engineer role.
It's also important that you're a team player, both freindly and approachable.
