Job Overview
The role of a Field Engineer involves conducting field investigations, collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope and cost estimates, and leading design and development activities for mechanical components and processes.
* Utilizing standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria in the evaluation, selection, and application of mechanical engineering solutions.
* Completing field testing and inspection, and processing related construction documentation.
* Leading and supporting mechanical engineering activities across projects, ensuring project execution aligns with scope, timeframe, and standards.
* Preparing or assisting in conceptual studies, designs, vendor packages, reports, and proposals.
* Ensuring maintenance of all required engineering design as per project Quality Assurance and company procedures.
* Contributing to scope and budget development based on client requirements.
* Reviewing and endorsing bid analyses of equipment, materials, and services within engineering's scope of responsibility.
* Developing concept and detailed pumping and piping system designs, along with creation of construction deliverables including scopes of work, process diagrams, material take-offs, connection details, and work method statements.
* Collaborating mechanical engineering efforts in assigned areas with specialty groups, disciplines, clients, vendors, contractors, construction, and other functional groups.
* Supporting a work environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, empowerment, and satisfaction.
* Mentoring and guiding junior team members in their professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
