ABOUT EDINBURGH HEALTH CENTRE
Edinburgh Health Centre is located 25km North of Adelaide, at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine.
The health centre operates a 16-bed low dependency ward 24/7. It also provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
* Provide high-quality primary healthcare, including health assessments, vaccinations, and patient monitoring in a low-dependency ward
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including GPs, physiotherapists, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
* Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic disease management, and preventative health programs
WHAT YOU BRING
* Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 12 months of RN experience in an acute, primary, or military healthcare setting
* Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
* Australian citizenship and the eligibility to obtain & maintain a Baseline Defence Security Clearance
* Commitment to professional development and ethical, patient-centred practice
* Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
