It aims to assist students to become independent, critical and lifelong learners and to maximise their potential for success in an Australian university context.About the roleIn this position, you will be responsible for the teaching delivery of two courses at RMIT UP; Data Analytics and Introduction to Software Development. Duties include assessment, monitoring academic progress of students, contributing to the development of the Foundation Studies curriculum and providing an outstanding student experience.These courses are designed to assist Foundation STEM students develop the skills and knowledge necessary for further tertiary studies.Key subject themes include:Introduction to Software Development: This skill-based course equips students with the skills to design and built everyday digital products from concept to implementation. Students work in a startup-style environment to design, build, and test a solution while considering legal and ethical responsibilities around user data.Data Analytics: This skill-based course introduces students to key concepts in data analytics, focusing on how data is processed, managed, and used to inform decisions in real-world contexts.
