Reference: c39ebef6Job DescriptionJob title: Personal Assistant/Support WorkerOutline of role: As my Personal Assistant your role is to enable and support me as an independent power chair user to access the community and day to day activities.Tasks: Personal care tasks - each day:Facilitate toilet breaks (using urine bottle). Training can be provided if required.Household tasks - on a regular basis, as requestedPreparing drinks and light lunches when required.General tasks - as and when requiredDriving wheelchair accessible vehicle and using appropriate wheelchair clamping and restraining equipment.Supervision and attention to safety in relation to power wheelchair i.e terrain/ kerbs/inclines when out and about.Assistance in and around the home if required.Social activities as and when requiredAssisting me to participate in various social activities, for example attending day centres and classes, voluntary and work-related meetings, and to attend day to day social and leisure activities.The above will involve driving my wheelchair accessible vehicle.
