About the Role
The HSE Lead is the primary point of contact for all HSE matters within the applicable operational team. Support the Savanna business and clients by providing frontline advice and direction with respect to health, safety and environment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dedicated point of contact for client field based and office based HSE matters
• Attend Client HSE Meetings and Forums
• Provide ongoing support to Field Managers and Rigs
• Work closely with and provide direct contribution to the development of HSE Improvement by supporting the Field Superintendents and Rig Managers to achieve their KPI's
• Be a key contributor to the advancement and implementation of the Savanna value proposition
• Provide services to develop and maintain Quality and Training systems
• Communicate and consult regularly with workers about foreseeable health and safety hazards
• Provide coaching and development related to the Savanna Assist and Assure Program, including undertaking Assure Audits
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will:
• Tertiary qualification (e.g. Bachelor's degree) in HSE or related discipline preferred. Diploma WHS minimum
• Certification in a recognised root cause analysis investigation technique (ICAM, SCAT or Taproot)
• Certification in a recognised auditing discipline
• Experience in interpretation of relevant safety legislation
• Experience in coaching stakeholders
• Knowledge of upstream drilling and completions operations preferred but not essential
• Contemporary communication skills (including use of infographics and rich pictures)
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and safety-focused mindset
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a frontline HSE role
• Hold a current C Class (car) driver's licence
