About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results-focused Regional Sales Executive or Manager (title dependent on experience) to maximise total revenue potential for our two Swiss-Belhotel International properties in Australia. This role covers the Corporate, Wholesale, Entertainment, and Long-Stay business segments, with a focus on both acquisition and retention strategies to ensure strong market penetration and sustained revenue growth.
A proactive approach to sales, relationship management, and collaboration is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve monthly sales targets by securing new business and maintaining key accounts.
* Build and strengthen relationships with corporate travel management companies (TMCs), corporate partners, entertainment industry contacts, wholesale partners, and long-stay clientele.
* Collaborate with Regional Revenue, Sales & Marketing teams to review hotel sales targets and pricing strategies.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate, entertainment, wholesale, and long-stay sectors.
* Plan and conduct sales trips, site inspections, and client entertainment to build relationships and secure contracts.
* Represent the hotels at industry events, tradeshows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
* Work closely with local tourism bodies, key corporate accounts, inbound operators, and travel agencies to maximise market presence.
* Respond promptly to all group, long-stay, corporate, meeting, and incentive requests.
* Manage corporate, association, and incentive event enquiries across all properties.
What We're Looking For
* Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism or Sales & Marketing related field (preferred).
* Minimum of one year's proven experience in a similar role within the four- or five-star hotel market.
* Flexibility to discuss working between three and five days per week, with the option to work from home.
* Strong knowledge of the Brisbane and/or Sydney market (highly desirable).
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and securing long-term business relationships.
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities, with strong attention to detail.
* Willingness and ability to travel domestically as required.
* Legal right to work in Australia.
