The Role
Reporting to the Operational & Projects Contracts Manager, the purpose of the role is to develop, procure and execute high-value, complex and strategic contracts and provide post award contract management, administration, and procurement, across a span of contracts encompassing services and materials to protect and optimize value for Arrow whilst minimizing risk.
In addition, you will:
* Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
* Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to execute whole of life contract management activities in accordance with Arrow's CMCP and governance requirements.
* Protect value and mitigate risk by identifying appropriate contracting strategies, market approach and contracting terms and conditions, and managing and mitigating claims.
* Negotiate with contractors to achieve advantageous outcomes for Arrow Energy, including commercial negotiations and claim resolution.
* Provide input and support to contract performance management activities together with advice to the CPL team and Contract Owners/Holders on ways to optimise post-award outcomes that protect value.
* Promote a culture of strategic cost management and cost leadership through identification and implementation of savings opportunities.
About You
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
* Bachelor degree qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Legal, Business, Commerce, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or Engineering).
* Demonstrated track record in Contract Administration or Management within Oil & Gas, Mining or Heavy Industries.
* Experience in developing, procuring, executing, and administering high-value, complex packages.
* Experience working with contemporary procurement practices within a global organisation incorporating knowledge of capital project requirements, driving CP opportunities, executing, and improving CP processes and systems.
* Demonstrated knowledge of suppliers, supply chains, market analysis, and cost models within the Oil and Gas Industry.
* Extensive experience in claims management and mitigation.
* Working knowledge of Contract Terms & Conditions, including allocation of risks between the parties.
