Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Support Worker to provide compassionate care to our aged care clients in Coffs Harbour. This is a part-time opportunity for 8-10 hours per week, working on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings around Coffs Harbour, Toormina, Bellingen and Urunga.
Responsibilities:
* Shopping and transport to medical appointments
* Assist clients with personal care and medication support
* Provide social support and community engagement
* Transport clients to shopping and medical appointments
* Provide some domestic assistance including meal preparation
* Work autonomously and within a team to meet client needs
Required Skills and Qualifications
You have a caring nature and are a clear and empathetic communicator who is able to build rapport effectively. You can work both autonomously and in a team environment, are extremely organised and adaptable to change. If you have the following qualifications, we want to hear from you:
* Cert 3 Individual Support (or similar qualification)
* Current drivers' license and reliable, insured vehicle
* National criminal history/police check (last 3 months)
* Aged care experience
