About the Role
As a Physiotherapist you will provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and care planning, assess, diagnose and treat movement disorders, neurological, musculoskeletal disorders and pain‐related conditions, prescribe evidence‐based practices to assist mobility and movement, and collaborate with allied health professionals to deliver a multidisciplinary approach of care to customers. You will also contribute to workplace education and quality improvement activities/research.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and care planning for residents living in homes and customers living in the community.
* Deliver physiotherapy services and conduct patient evaluations, including movement disorders, neurological and musculoskeletal assessments.
* Review patients' medical histories, perform diagnostic tests, and develop a comprehensive understanding of patients' physical capabilities and limitations.
* Contribute to the evaluation and analysis of guidelines, policies and procedures applicable to clinical work to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Occupational Therapists and other allied health disciplines to deliver truly multidisciplinary care.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree required (Physiotherapy, Healthcare, Nursing, Pharmacy preferred).
* Any other healthcare‐related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
* Minimal experience as a Physiotherapist preferred.
* Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration required.
* Proficiency in Physiotherapy Assessment, Physiotherapy Equipment, Quality Improvement, Legal and Regulatory Compliance and Patient Case Management skills.
* Excellent customer experience, planning and prioritisation, communication and adaptive thinking skills.
