Flight Attendant Role
Rex Airlines operates a fleet of Saab 340 aircraft, connecting cities and regional Australia. Our flight attendants provide exceptional in-flight service, earning the Apex Award for Best Cabin Service in the South Pacific.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the cabin independently, ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
* Provide personalized customer service while traveling to unique destinations.
* Perform equipment checks, in-flight announcements, and food & beverage service.
* Handle various situations that may occur in the cabin.
Requirements
* Be 18 years of age or over.
* Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
* Be no taller than 173 cm.
* Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
* Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - completed within the last 3 years.
* Have a minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or have worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or have worked in the UK, Ireland or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or have completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.
* Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which involves a police security check.
* Pass a swim assessment.
* Be flexible and adaptable, working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periods.
* Have a high level of personal presentation.
* Have a natural willingness to please and care for people.
