We are a small family business based in Stroud and servicing the Gloucester, Stroud and Dungog areas. We have more work than we can currently service and are looking for a casual employee for an immediate start.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a reliable, qualified, and safety-conscious Pest Control Technician to join our team in our family run business, servicing our community for over 10 years. This role involves the identification, treatment, and prevention of pests in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional service to clients, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and environmental regulations.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia with all work visa holders welcome to apply.
The ideal candidate will have:
* a valid Pest Management Technician licence (termite licence not required, we can assist you to obtain this aspect)
* a Certificate III in Urban Pest Management (CPP30119) or equivalent
* a minimum of 6 months' experience in the pest control industry (preferred)
* a current Manual Australian Driver's Licence (required)
Flexibility
We are also open to
* looking into a traineeship for the right candidate (though this may need to wait until Winter when we have more time to train you given the seasonal nature of pest control).
* hiring a hybrid admin / pest control technician role where we could offer between 2-4 days a week, on negotiation.
* If you are working in Newcastle during the week and just after a bit of extra cash, we can give you work just on the weekend (with the appropriate weekend rate loading)
* Have study or have other commitments? We can work around you. Choose your days and hours. At this stage, we have between 1-3 days work for the right person.

* Physical fitness and ability to work in varying conditions (crawl spaces, roofs, etc.)
* Good driving history
* Reliable and respectful
* Familiar with technology including using iPhone/iPad to access job management software and complete electronic documentation
