We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join our growing team in regional Western Australia. This is a full‐time position with an established hospitality business committed to delivering high‐quality food and customer service outcomes to the local community.
The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking quality meals while maintaining high kitchen and food safety standards in a busy hospitality environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking a range of meals in accordance with menu requirements
* Assisting with menu planning and development
* Monitoring food preparation and presentation standards
* Managing stock levels and food ordering
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
* Supervising kitchen operations and assisting junior staff where required
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen work areas
Skills and Experience Required
* Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or related field
* Minimum 3 years relevant work experience as a Chef
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced environment
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
