Airport Management Opportunity
Kalgoorlie-Boulder Airport seeks a full-time Airport Manager to oversee operations, ensure safety and compliance, and drive commercial development.
Responsibilities:
* Manage airport operations in line with national regulations and local government priorities
* Develop and maintain emergency and security plans per aviation regulations
* Lead aerodrome technical inspections and compliance monitoring
* Identify and pursue commercial opportunities
* Contribute to future terminal and airside infrastructure planning
* Engage key stakeholders and contribute to airport-related projects
* Oversee security screening of passengers and baggage
* Prepare and manage airport-related budgets and reporting data
* Lead staff with a focus on safety, compliance, and performance
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in aviation operations or substantial experience managing major regional or capital city airports
* Demonstrable experience in local government or a similar public sector environment
* Eligibility for an Australia-wide AusCheck ASIC
* Current National Police Clearance
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly valued)
* Reporting Officer/Works Safety Officer Certificate (highly valued)
* Stakeholder engagement and team leadership experience
* Financial management and reporting expertise
* Familiarity with infrastructure planning, project delivery, and airline liaison
