Career Opportunities: Project Manager - Land lease Communities (25998)
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Halcyon Land Lease Communities team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a hands-on role in delivering lifestyle villages for over 50s across Victoria. These communities include detached dwellings, clubhouses and recreational facilities such as pools and bowling greens.
Your tasks will include:
* Partnering with Development Managers to deliver projects from inception to completion
* Managing daily site activities, quality inspections and defecting
* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
* Driving cost efficiencies through project cost plans and stakeholder collaboration
* Leading construction milestones across multiple sites
* Building strong relationships with contractors, consultants and approval authorities
* Communicating project priorities clearly and frequently
* Identifying and mitigating risks proactively
* Supporting sustainable development practices and HS&E excellence
* Keeping customers informed throughout the construction journey
To be successful in this role you:
* Have a proven track record of experience within the Australian construction sector.
* Applicants with experience gained across apartments, residential buildings, medium-density housing, communities or similar developments are encouraged to apply.
* Bring a customer-focused mindset and strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Are confident working in detail at site level – this is not your typical client-side role and will suit those with a hands-on approach
* Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering or a related field
* Have a solid track record of leading and motivating contractors and consultants to meet milestones
* Understand residential construction techniques and civil works
* Have a sound sense of commercial acumen, and understand contract administration and project management best practices
