About the Position:
Lead a team of high-performing chefs and ensure the highest standards of quality, consistency and efficiency of back-of-house operations. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional with experience in senior sous or sous chef positions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist senior chefs with day-to-day kitchen operations
* Organise and support your section and team to optimum efficiency
* Coach the team to meet Lucas Restaurants' standards
* Lead a team of high-performing chefs to achieve exceptional results
* Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency and efficiency
Requirements:
* Experience as a Senior Sous or Sous Chef in a premium a-la-carte restaurant
* Demonstrated success in leading a high-performing team
* Passion for global cuisine trends
* Understanding of inventory management and food safety standards
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning
* Strong organisational skills and ability to remain composed under pressure
* Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
* Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
