We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tyre Fitter to join our team at TyreRight Picton, based at the APH Contractors Yard in Picton, WA. As a Tyre Fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles and servicing our customers. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.
What you'll be doing
* Inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy machinery
* Performing wheel alignments and balancing to ensure optimal tyre performance
* Maintaining detailed records of all tyre-related work and reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel
* Adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues
* Providing excellent customer service and addressing any tyre-related concerns or inquiries
What we're looking for
* Relevant experience as a Tyre Fitter or in a similar automotive trade role
* Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose tyre-related issues
* Familiarity with a wide range of tyre types and sizes, as well as wheel alignment and balancing equipment
* Good communication and customer service skills
* A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential hazards
* A valid driver's licence and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
