Post Graduate Fellow in Hepatobiliary Surgery
John Hunter Hospital – Fixed Term Temporary | 0.8 FTE | 1 February 2027 – 31 January 2028
John Hunter Hospital invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Post Graduate Fellow in HPB Surgery to contribute to high quality surgical intervention in HPB surgical pathology management whilst also providing expert care and clinical advice to patients, carers, and other health care professionals. The Post Graduate Fellow will have completed advanced training to become a specialist medical practitioner in General Surgery.
Qualifications
* Current medical practitioner registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and/or eligible for specialist registration as a Specialist General Surgeon and/or is on an approved pathway to obtain specialist recognition as an International Medical Graduate
* Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
* Evidence of relevant technical expertise undertaking surgery and procedures appropriate to a Post Graduate Fellow's training, skills, expertise and the available facilities including equipment, team, conditions and staffing
