Sales and Distribution Director
We are seeking a Sales and Distribution Director to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement property-wide sales strategies that deliver products and services to meet customer needs.
* Drive total hotel revenue including guestroom, banquet, catering, room rental, resource revenue and food and beverage venue revenue.
* Build and maintain long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of the hotel's sales objectives.
* Partner with the Director of Revenue Management to evaluate group and FIT business opportunities.
* Manage the sales budget to create property-specific client activations and planned sales trips and tradeshow participation.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar leadership role in a 5-star hotel operation for at least 2-3 years.
* Expert knowledge of the industry, competitive landscape and the local market.
* Ability to identify trends in the market and apply this knowledge to maximize sales.
* Highly effective communication, networking and business partnering skills.
* Sales experience with proven revenue results and the ability to anticipate and understand customer needs.
