About the Role:
This permanent full-time position involves operating and maintaining machinery and equipment used in meat processing. The ideal candidate will be able to handle raw and cooked meat products, adhere to strict food safety and quality standards, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain machinery and equipment including packing, slicing, lifting, pushing, pulling, holding, and carrying.
* Handle both raw and cooked meat products.
* Ensure strict adherence to food safety and quality standards throughout production.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Collaborate with the production team and supervisors for efficient production flow and daily targets.
* Rotate tasks for variety in daily duties.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
* A strong commitment to safe work practices at all times.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with other team members.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while completing repetitive tasks.
* Ability to stand for extended periods.
* Comfortable lifting weights of 15–20 kg frequently.
* Ability to work in chilled temperature rooms.
* A hardworking attitude and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
