About the Opportunity
Join our vibrant and caring Kids' Early Learning team as a Child Care Aide on a casual basis. Your role will support the well‐being and development of children across 32 services. You will plan and implement a program of developmentally appropriate activities and maintain a high standard of care for children, in consultation with the Director Child Care and other team members.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‐quality, child‐centred care and support across multiple childcare settings, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Diploma in Community Services (Children's Services) or equivalent as specified in the Education and Care Services National Law **** and Education and Care Services National Regulations ****
* Completion of Child Protection Course – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm
* Current certificate HLTAID009 providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
* Current certificate HLTAID012 providing First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training meeting the Education and Care Services National Law **** and Regulation ****
* Valid Working with Children Check clearance for paid work
Desirable Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months relevant work experience
* Current class C driver's licence
* Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations
Remuneration and Benefits
* Hourly pay: $*****–$***** plus 25% casual loading
